Alfresco Kitchen with Pergola and Merbau Decking in Parkdale

We recently completed another exciting alfresco kitchen project in the Melbourne suburb of Parkdale. This Melbourne family can now enjoy outdoor living at it’s best with plenty of space to relax.

The alfresco kitchen is compact but with everything that is needed – including BBQ, sink and fridge. A privacy screen has been built behind the kitchen. Ever popular merbau timber was chosen for the deck. So the outdoor space can be enjoyed in all weather, a pergola with a pitched roof has been added with clear Laserlite plastic that allows protection against the rain but still allow the sun in.

As the decking is raised, there is a balcony with vertical steel wire, so that the view is not obstructed. There are also stairs leading down the grassed garden area.
